Top African music act was set to lime light yesterday in the city  Durban, South Africa, with pulsating performances and collaborations at this year�s MTV Africa Music Award.

Among the notable faces at the event include Senior Vice President, Viacom Africa, Alex Okosi, Dbanj, PSquare, Seyi Shay, Yemi ALade, Toofan, StoneBwoy, K.O, Kulichana among many others.

Efizzee baeby, Yemi Alade won the award for Best Female at MAMA 2015.


Peter and Paul Okoye ( PSquare ) won the best group category


Reggae act and Alubarika crooner, Patoranking  won the Best New Act at the ongoing MAMA 2015 in South Africa.

While DBanji beats 2Face, and Asa to  MAMA Evolution, which is only for already established artist who have  huge impact on the African music scene, taken African music to new heights around the world and pushed the boundaries of creativity. The winner for this category was jointly decided by MTV Base and online voting via Twitter and Instagram.
